Welcome Aboard & Goodbye (Really is should be see you next time!)

Well we got the news this past Wednesday that we have a new branch manager at my work. YIPPEE!!!!! John T. (goes by J.T.) is the right fit for our office. Already he has impressed us and the morale of the office is even better!!!

Even though he's not in the pic below, we had to initiate him into our branch since he's from GA, by making him join us in calling the Hogs! ha ha!

From the left: Walter Jameson (Regional Director), Frank Hiegel (not sure, ha! He's a Financial Advisor in our office), and Greg Gangas (Complex Manager from Tulsa). Walter and Greg are just as awesome as JT!!!

The pic below is why we already love JT! He steps up to the plate no matter what position he needs to play!

The hardest part this week is not saying good-bye, but we'll see you next time, is letting Billie go back to Tulsa. Greg gave her the eye in letting her know she was coming back home. :) She has been our Ops Manager for 42 days. No they weren't 42 days straight, but when she's been there she has gone over and beyond by getting things done that needed to be done. She rocks!

The pic below was the day before she left.

And of course we took a great one! and then we took a fun one! The bunny ears and the panic look....

And of course we had to get JT in on the fun and get a pic of him and Billie.

On Friday we had Whole Hog Cafe catered in. And we had a big cake as well for Billie. Here is a pic of me and my co-workers.

This pic is where Billie is holding up her Arkansas Traveler Certificate. It's really neat and I never knew they did such a thing.

So while we hate letting go of someone who is like family, regardless if she has her job in Tulsa with Greg, I think I can speak on behalf of my office that we are so excited to see what's in store for us! I think JT has the desire to help everyone, and the fire to fire everyone up and get us excited! Welcome aboard JT!

LR Marathon Training Meeting

Well tonight I went to the Little Rock Marathon Training Meeting and let me tell you I am totally pumped up about it! My hubby asked me the other day "Don't you think you need to concentrate on this 1/2 marathon coming up in October?" I said well yeah, but I need to keep something else lined up so I don't ever quit training. I'm a medal junkie now and really I'm a recognition junkie. :) Tonight they confirmed what I had said to the hubs. One lady said you never finish a race, you continue on to the next one. :)

So I'm doing the 1/2 marathon October 24th in support of Soaring Wings. It's a children's home in Conway. Then March 7th I'll do the full marathon. :) I will be implementing jogging here soon. Right now I walk 5 days a week with Saturdays being my long walk day (up to six miles!). I do the Wii Active 5 days a week. I'm also going to implement some Yoga on my rest days from Wii Active and walking rest days too. I need to implement some weight training in there as well.

The LR Marathon training is on Saturday mornings at 6 in the morning!!!! No more sleeping in for me..... Oh well! Also, I will be able to walk however long so I don't have to adjust my training for the Soaring Wings. yeah!!!

So I will try to post things as I think of them. I also will update Facebook (this will be more often).

Celebration!!

I received a phone call at 8:00 this morning from PCSSD. It was Michelle telling me that Shelby got into Parkview!!! We are so excited to see where this new adventure will lead her. Harley will be going to ABHS and it's still the same school, BUT different location and it's the High School. Ashley will be goint to Maumelle Middle School and it will be new for her too. So many changes this school year!! But again we're excited to see what God has in store for our girls.

We took the girls to a new restaurant call Haystack Cafe. OMG, it's a hole in the wall type restaurant and the food was fabulous! I took pics. One of Robert's co-workers plays at different places with his guitars and so we got to hear him for the first time and see him play.

This is Jag. He's the one that works with Robert.

Shelby looked so adorable!!! She's growing up so fast!

Ashley and her beautiful smile!

Harley and her beautiful eyes, and face! She's growing up too fast too!

This was Robert's dinner. Chicken Fried Steak. Big portion too! YUM!!

This was my dinner! Mediterranean Shrimp. It was AWESOME!!! Very well done!

Perhaps my favorite picture for the night was the one below. It was so good I had to put it above as the main page picture. This is the hubs and I and I am so in love with him, even almost 8 years later.

Yes it was a good night of celebrating. I pray that the Lord will keep my girls safe as they embark on another new adventure, and another milestone for each of them.

Music

As you can tell if you've been reading my blog long. I tend to associate music with my life. The new one is by Rascal Flatts and it's call "The Broken Road". I feel this fits mine and Robert's marriage. How we found each other and how it all just fell into place. :)

Puppy Park Hammy

Hammy just absolutely loves to go bye bye. He also loves going to the Puppy Park and greeting other pups....

I love this pic of him. Well I love any picture of Hammy..... I have more pictures of him at my office then my own girls.... ha!

This was him running from a VERY big dog that he almost ran into.... It was quite comical....

I've been trying different things on my camera with different shots. Sometimes I'm amaze at how well the shot I was wanting turned out better.

Hammy can't wait to go again!

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

My mom's birthday was July 9th and to celebrate and tell her what a wonderful mom she is and how I appreciate all she does, I took her for a Spa Pedicure. My dad chipped in and we also had lunch after the Spa Pedicure and then we had Facials after lunch. It was so much fun!!

My beautiful momma!!

And of course there's me.....

My mom's beautiful painted toes.

My pretty toes.... They so needed the massage and the pampering after walking 6 miles this morning.... Might have to do this every other Saturday. :)

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful, beautiful woman in the world, my mom!!! Loves you!!

Bowling

Robert's cousin's family was in town today. We met them and Dan, and Lee, and Bryan, Haley, and little Kinsley at American Pie Pizza in NLR. Wes and his crew, and our crew decided after lunch to go bowling. Some of the pics are not the greatest, but at least I got some!

I had to get a pic of Robert's bowling shoes. How funny!!!

Wes getting ready to bowl. Wendi, Charity, and Miles are in the background.

Wendi bowling...

Shelby bowling...

Robert got his first strike (for the day)!!!

The hubs and I. Little blurry but that's ok.

We had a lot of fun!!!
