1/2 Marathon - I DID IT!!!!!!

I completed my first 1/2 marathon!!! For those of you who do not know how far that is..... 13.1 miles!!!! I still can't believe I did it. I got my first medal!! Can't wait to do another one.

We will not talk about what happened after the race..... Ok, maybe I will..... I got sooooooo sick!! About the 8th or 9th mile, my stomach muscles were cramping up big time..... But I finished and that's all that matters!!!



I have to thank my hubby and kids for their support during my training and during the race. I also have to thank my mom and dad for their support as well.

Hand And Foot Halloween Decorations

Here are a couple of pictures of our decorating for our Hand And Foot Party coming up this Saturday, October 17th! :) Don't want to give it all away! :)

Since Hand and Foot is a card game we thought it would be cute to take this skeleton and make him look like he is tied up and has the worse cards you could get. Which is the red 3's. They are automatically a negative 500 points! OUCH!


This skeleton looked very excited so we decided to give him the best cards!

ARHA Gala

Tonight was ARHA's Gala - Arkansas Respiratory Health Association. My best friend Misty went with me. :)

My dad is the Past President of the board. He served for 3 years as President. I got to be in a couple of pictures with him. So be looking for me in Inviting Arkansas and Soiree or something like that! :)



Here is the band that played. They were absolutely wonderful!

This is Jerry Wilson & his wife (no kin to my dad). There was plenty of dancing! Misty and I even got to line dance! :)


It was a great night and I'm so happy to have spent it with my best friend Misty. Thank you Misty for a fun night! I really needed it!
