Harley's School Christmas Party

Not only was it Harley's birthday, but it was also last day of school before Christmas break AND her classroom's Christmas party!!!

I got these really cool cupcakes in a shape of a Christmas tree. Harley's birthday is so close to Christmas that she is a Christmas baby!


The class played Pictionary/Charades and unfortunately the boys won. Bummer!

I got an early Christmas present! A new camera!

My other camera would not give me a good enough zoom, if you recall the pics from Harley's band performance. So here are some new pics below with it. I even re-took some of our Christmas decorations so you could see better details.

Ashley's Christmas School Program

Tonight was Ashley's Christmas performance at her school. They sang 3 songs. It was a lot of fun.

Harley's Christmas Band Performance

Harley plays the clarinet and this is her first year to play it. Last year she played the trombone, and while she was very good at it, it was a challenge for her. Her band teacher said Harley was meek and needed a smaller instrument. Well tonight was her Christmas performance. I got a few good shots to share with you. :)

Stress & A New Drink

This week will be stressful starting today until after Monday next week. My backup is out of town and two of her 4 guys are really depending on me to take care of things. While I enjoy helping others this causes me high stress with my 3 that I already have who are high maintenance to begin with. :)

My new favorite drink is mixing hot cocoa and coffee together. Kind of like a mocha, but it gives the cocoa an extra kick. :) Merry Christmas!

Black Friday Shopping!!!

My Favorite Time of Year!! I love shopping for a bargain. Especially when it comes to my girls and their expensive taste that gets more and more each year. :)

I got up at 4:00 Friday morning to go shopping with my best friend Misty. I can get up so easy for something like this, but when the alarm goes off at 6:00 for work, uurrghh!!! Anyway, we hit Wal-Mart first, then JC Penney's. We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrell. From there we went to Best Buy, Target, Kohl's, Games Botique, Academy Sports, Michael's and Belk's. Finished up with lunch at Pannera Bread, YUMMY!!!! Got home and Robert was ready to adventure out (and he said he wouldn't shop with me until AFTER 1st of the year!) We went to Michael's (had a 50% off coupon I had to use during this time frame), Office Depot, Payless Shoes, Target (again!), and then Wal-Mart for grocery shopping! :) Target was again because I got a 2MB SD Disk for my camera for $8.88 and I needed two more. Little did I know I can now take over 6,000 pics on my camera with just one of these!!!

Below are the items I got a super bargain for myself! Of course some of it is for Robert too, {cough} {cough}! :) Not the girlie shirts though, ha ha!!! Robert said the whole point of shopping was for the kids. BUT I found too good of bargains for myself to past up!!!

I got this cute sweater at Belk's! It was $22 on sale, BUT Belk's was also giving an additional 15% off your purchases! So I also had to get me some pajama bottoms that are sooooooooooo soft and my best friend got the same pair! We have the same taste! :) I also got Hammy a fleece shirt!

Another sweater, but this is from JC Penney's. I LOVE PENNEY'S!!! Got this one for $13! My best friend got one too, but in black!

Ok I have been wanting this thing ever since they came out, but I'm not paying $60 for it and I didn't think this would ever go on sale! My parent's absolutely loved there's and someone in line at check out commented on her's too! I got this at Kohl's on sale for $49.99, and with a $10 rebate so $40!!! :)

This was my #2 favorite gem of the day! Robert has been wanting a Kitchen Aid mixer, but we're not paying $200 to $300 for one. I like Hamilton Beach products and I got this gem at Target for.........$25!!!! It is sooooooo cool!!! It's also a hand mixer as well. I got the last one off the shelf and EVERYONE was wanting it. My best friend wanted one and I was actually feeling bad, but when we were going down the main aisle I saw one on an end cap that someone changed their mind, and told Misty to grab it! So we're both very happy!!!

THIS IS MY #1 GEM!!!! A blue tooth!! I thought I would never get one of these, one because of price and two well EVERYONE has one. I got this at Office Depot for $20!!! Couldn't believe it!! I've had it since Friday and really started using it Monday and today and now I don't know why I never got one in the first place. Love it!!! Makes driving so much easier!

Well that's it for now! Can't tell you about my other deals since those deal with hubby gifts and girls gifts and I don't want to spoil it. You'll have to check back in after Christmas to see their gifts.

All in all it was an awesome day and so much fun to be with my best friend Misty!!
